biography

i am a member of flexible transmission & distribution systems research group., and have accomplished a series of nationally funded projects. in 1997 and 2000, i received bachelor’s and master’s degree in shandong university of technology. then i got ph.d. in tsinghua university in 2004. from 2004 to 2007, i worked for beijing sf-power electric technology ltd., where i took charge of r&d and developed the first high-voltage high-power d-statcoms in china. i entered the postdoctoral workstation of tsinghua university in 2007, and continued my research on h-cascaded statcom and series connection of igbts. in 2008, i visited cambridge university for a short period. finishing the postdoc in 2009, i became a faculty member of the department of electrical engineering.
