on the morning of march 22, wu hongbiao, secretary of the party committee, and zhang li, dean of the college of energy and electrical engineering at hohai university, visited the department of electrical engineering and applied electronics (eea), tsinghua university for research and exchange. attendees included yu xinjie, secretary of the party committee of eea; yu zhanqing, deputy secretary of the party committee of eea; zhang pinjia, deputy dean of eea; cheng lin, deputy director of the state key laboratory of new type power system operation and control; li qi, director of the party committee office of eea; zhong haiwang, head of the graduate student working group of eea, and others. the meeting was chaired by sun kai, assistant to the dean of eea.

during the exchange symposium, wu hongbiao and zhang li introduced the history, discipline construction, faculty team, and talent cultivation of the college of energy and electrical engineering at hohai university. yu xinjie warmly welcomed the delegation from college of energy and electrical engineering, hohai university. participants from both sides engaged in in-depth and enthusiastic discussions on topics such as party building, integration of high-level resources, joint construction, undergraduate training programs, graduate student enrollment and cultivation, student mental health education, organized scientific research, and achievement transformation. they shared specific measures and valuable experiences.
after the meeting, the delegation from hohai university visited the state key laboratory of new power system operation and control, the power electronics and electric machine teaching and research laboratory, and other teaching and research platforms, gaining insight into the eea’s recent achievements in various fields.
