on the morning of january 31, kang chongqing, dean of eea at tsinghua university, along with his assistant sun kai, associate professor zhong haiwang, associate researcher du ershun from the low-carbon energy laboratory, and four doctoral students, arrived at the university of strathclyde. they were joined by professor stephen mcarthur, vice-chancellor and dean of the faculty of engineering at the university of strathclyde, professor campbell booth, deputy dean of the faculty of engineering, professor graeme burt, director of the energy and environment institute, professor keith bell, the scottish power chair, professor tariq durrani, fellow of the royal academy of engineering, foreign member of the chinese academy of sciences, foreign member of the us national academy of engineering, and chair of the climate change coordination committee of the institution of engineering and technology, ms. lin fan, advisor on china affairs at the office of the president, dr. hong qiteng, professor yuan weijia, and professor zhang min of the university of strathclyde, among others, attended the discussion and exchange meeting.
