"2019 summit of core components and key technologies for robots (6th) and china-eu intelligent robot conference" organized and hosted by eea was successfully held in tsinghua university on december 14. the conference is hosted by tsinghua robotics and industry collaborative innovation alliance, china science and technology automation alliance, iet (british institution of engineering and technology), intelligent robot centre of artificial intelligence research institute of tsinghua university, beijing technology trade promotion centre, and co-hosted by eea of tsinghua university and beijing e-cube technology co., ltd. professor xiao xi from eea of tsinghua university served as chairman of the organizing committee, professor chen kun from the mechanical department of tsinghua university served as chairman of the conference, and wang jian, vice chairman and secretary-general of china science and technology automation alliance, served as chairman of the executive committee.

mr. xu xinchao, member of the cpc committee group and deputy director of beijing science and technology commission, zhang bo, academician of the chinese academy of sciences and professor of the department of computer, tsinghua university, and an hongping, vice president of tus-holdings co., ltd. and chairman of shanghai tus-holdings caohejing science and technology park, made opening speeches. twenty experts and scholars from the field of robots at home and abroad have taken the stage and delivered a wonderful keynote speech on hot issues such as the development of the robot industry, robot human-machine collaboration and integration, multi-modal learning, robot servo system, robot deceleration mechanism, robot sensing and electronic skin, all kinds of special and service robots, etc. professor sun fuchun of the department of computer science, professor xiao xi of eea and professor liao hong'en of the department of biomedical engineering introduced the latest progress of tsinghua university in robot artificial intelligence technology, robot servo drive technology and minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment robot. the summit also invited a number of robot experts from europe to deliver keynote speeches, including: professor zhang jianwei, academician of the hamburg academy of sciences and university of hamburg, mr. peter fuhrman, chief representative of european fogale, dr. ding hao, former chief scientist of abb german research institute and chairman of the man-machine cooperation technology committee of ieee robotics and automation society, and professor frank kirchner of the university of bremen, germany. in addition, dr. li miao, founder and ceo of cooper technology, mr. fan zhengfu, board chairman of ningbo hs-power drive technology co, ltd., mr. marzio montorsi, general manager of robox intelligent control company, mr. du zhaohui, general manager of guangdong yongdong hi-tech, mr. han fengtao, cto of luoshi robot, mr. lu xiang of shanghai electrical appliance science research institute, and dr. zhu haibing of automation institute of chinese academy of sciences also made speeches. nearly 300 representatives from universities and robot enterprises attended the conference, and a favourable communication effect is realized in the conference.
