报告内容:

the great number of offshore wind power plants which are being built and project in various locations all over europe represent a challenge and an opportunity for connecting all the power plants to the power system. the main connection proposals include the hvdc supergrid concept, which will connect all the offshore wind power plants and the terrestrial nodes. the present project proposes to develop research on the different electrical topologies and the control and operation strategies needed. detailed models will be developed and applies to different practical cases, to later focus on the design of control strategies for the different converters using or not communications. the proposed algorithms will be later validated by means of simulations with different software packages and tested experimentally in a scaled platform.

报告人简介:

dr. eng. oriol gomis-bellmunt is associate professor of citcea-upc research group in the electrical engineering department of the upc. since 2009 he is also with the catalonia institute for energy research (irec). he has been developing research related to onshore and offshore wind power plants, modeling, simulation and control of wind turbines, grid integration of wind power and multiterminal hvdc transmission systems for offshore wind power.
